Just Cause 2

What we know about Just Cause 2.

• Rico Rodriguez is back
• Setting: Panau
• Parachute physics is more realistic
• Swimming is being improved
• There are now environmental effects: Storms, Blizzards, etc
• You will have to finish side missions to go on to the main story missions ( making the game longer then the original)
• AI is said to be improved
• Now enemies will take cover, and flanks
• The new combat engine, Hybrid Locking System, will make targeting better
• New weapons in Just Cause 2 are laser-controlled rockets, one-handed granade launcers, C4, all weapons are now UPGRADABLE
• Vehicles are now UPGRADABLE as well
• New stunts are also coming in JC2
• There is also an entirely new stunt system for cars
• Just like GTA 4 to San Andreas there will be less "dead space" in JC2
• Not Offical yet IGN.com states that Just Cause 2 will be Released on September 16 2008
• Just Cause does not have an official website yet

Saints Row 2

Troy Bradshaw at IGN yesterday posted an Interview up talking about Saints row 2.

Here is a little summary:

• Julius is trying to leave the gang business
• You character is recovering from a coma (if you have played the game then you know why but if you havent i will not spoil it for you)
• Johnny Gat is one of the top Saint lieutenants
• Johnny is awating a trial on murder charges
• Troy Bradshaw is a undercover officer
• There are three new gangs: The Ronin, the Sons of Samedi and the Brotherhood
• Brotherhood is the most aggresive gang.
• Your player will be able to speak
• There is a new trailer on the site
• Aisha, Troy,Johnny Gat, Julius and others are expected to return in Saint Row 2
• There will be around 90 min of Cutscenes
• Voice acting will be played by some very famous hollywood names
• You can pick up beer bottles, pool cue, 27" Televisions, even big swords as weapons

• 15 years have passed since the climax of Saints Row 1
• Stilwater will be about 150% bigger then Stilwater in Saints Row 1
• You are waking up from a coma
• You can make your player a Male or a Female
• There are customizable cribs
• Have human shields
• Toss rival gangs into cars, trains, etc
• Fine Aim controlling can help you get that perfect nut-shot
• You can finally fly Jets, helicopters, and planes
• You can ride speedboats, monster trucks, and bikes
• Weapons can range from Rocket Launchers to Flamethowers, from Shock-paddles to Satchel-Charges to even Stun-guns and Katanas
• There is 2 player online co-op, and like GTA you can go open world and cause mayhem in an open world.
• Customize voice, taunts, action and fighting styles
• Customize your players height, age, weight
• The Sons of Samedi are mostly Caribbean. The Drug Gang. Gang Color: GREEN
• The Brotherhood are bikers.They specialize in destruction and Violence. Gang Color: RED
• The Ronin are a gang of Asians. Translation: Samurai. The are the gamblers. Gang Color: YELLOW
• You can dual-wield SMGs and Handguns
• Special Edition will include metal collector's tin, exclusive poster, exclusive art book, money clip, gold USB drive for PS3, and Silver USB drive for Xbox 360.
